Hi. Im approaching commander level with my science charater. I plan on using a science ship at this level. In PVP i will be healing with this ship. What I was wondering is whats a good dps setup at this level for PVE content in a science ship?

please remember my friend sci is really not about dps if you want dps fly an escort ......but then why would you want to be like everybody else .......sty off the pew pew train my brother

I understand that a escort is better for dps. I am going to fly a science ship to heal in PVP mainly, but when im not PVP I will be grinding through missions in my science ship. So i was wondering what a good setup to kill things in PVE. I dont have the credits to by a escort and i will be putting my skill points into things that effect my science ship.

dual beam banks are a good start. they have a small arc, but they hit really hard. what do you like right now?

Commander is the Golfball ship, right?

If you don't mind using broken skills (for PvE, I'd highly advise against using them in PvP), load up on Beam Arrays and FAW.

For Sci abilities, go with Gravity Well/Scramble Sensors.
