Auxiliary Power to Structural Integrity Field 3 - Does anyone have this skill for trade? (Klingon or Fed)

For PvP, Extend Shields is pretty good as well, and Aux2Sif2 is sufficient. For PvE, I would look more into offensive options like Eject Warp Plasma or Directed Energy Modulation - you can probably still survive with lower level heals (even at Elite difficulty or in STFs), but it takes off a lot of time in combat if you can inflict more damage.

42% shield resist + ~7000 shield heal over it's duration. (With high shield power)

Basically gives Escorts their own RSF 3, and it's only got a 15 second CD. Personally, I'd take ES 3 over Aux to SIF 3 any day, especially since giving them shields over hull heals protects them from torpedo spikes.

Don't most escorts role 2 power to shields? So wouldn't giving them huge hull heals and a light shield heal be more effective?

Like an aux to sif 3 and a tss 1, or an ES 1.

2 power to shields 1 an es 1, rsp1, 2 eng team 3s and an aux to sif 3 has always helped me and a teammate. But I might just be crazy.

Nah, but with the latest update to extends they are more power full than the a2s3.. Instead i would say ES3 and SIF2 works better, and all those other fun stuff ofc (ETs etc).

Hmm, I'm sure you're right. But I've always been very cautious about using ES in PvP. I always played my eng/cruiser has a sneaky healer, if that makes sense.

Dropping an Eng team or aux to sif doesn't give away to the other pug that I'm a healer. Even when I use ES 1 on someone its almost instant damage coming my way. And with the nature of pug teams that means I'm out my hull heals, my 1 rsp is on cool down and I've got no help form any cruisers.

Plus not many people think an Assault cruiser is going to be set up as a healer. So I can drop the hull heals all over the place without anyone catching on. But in a pre made team I'm sure ES3 would be better.

But does extend shields have any benefit to the user or is it just to the target it's being used on?

I tend to go will heavy hull heals and light shield heals that can be used on myself and teammates.

I use ASIF3 and I think it's the best commnader level engineering skill hands down

No benefit to self, but it is the best thing you can carry for an ally. If they stay in range.
