It's really amazing. Try it out Mustrum. It's no lies!!
As I mostly PvP, the enemy shield's don't drop as easily (more counters, and more shield power), so I have to resort to other methods. I currently prefer 3DHCs with 1 DBB, combining CRF, APB and BO3 (and everything I get as a Tact)...

Is there any way for this to be trainable? How else do you come by it? I have three toons that are all maxed and never seen BO III on any of my Boffs?

Thanks

It's not trainable, only on random BOFFs. Try the exchange. Have a few millions ready..

I'm in the process of making a video where I can show how NPC ship's just can not cope with Target Shields. I'll also show my Fleet Escort's loadout and bridge assignments so you can see what I'm working with.

Mustrum: Can you give us some hints on those "other ways" you're dealing with opponents?

NPC ships will have their shields shut down every time by TSS3 with enough bonuses to the skill. However, the truth is for NPCs TSS2 works nearly just as well.

Nothing special, really, i am sure there are people that can deal even better bursts.

CRF 2, APB 3, BO 3, FOMM, GDF, TI to throw out the acronyms. And looking for weakened players not sufficiently hardened (PvP wise, in PVE, no enemy is sufficiently hardened, except those Metaphasic Shield Cruisers.)

So for in normal PvE I noticed that I barely need my HE and TSS, so I could add a Tachyon or Tractor Beam and a Charged Particle Burst in the mix for additional damage. (I generally don't play on Advanced or Elite anymore as PvE is just a a way to level quickly, and Advanced and Elite are slow and not really more interesting, unfortunately.)

I have flight recordings now of my fleet escort vs. VA level Gorn. I have to compress them then string them together into one movie. I'll try and get that done tonight.

I dont know, i fined Target Engines or Auxiliary more anoying than Shields. And shutting sometimes heals/sci powers can be much more deadly.

Escorts with their limited device slots usually do not have aux batteries (unless sci captain probably)

BTS: Shields can easily be overriden by a battery, EngTeam, or transferring power to shields.
BTSS is good against escorts mildly effective against others due to engie powers and more battery slots.
