Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
I vote yes, and here is why (and yes, I fly one, and will continue to fly one for the foreseeable future):
1. It outmaneuvers all other escorts.
2. It outruns all other escorts.
3. It out tanks all other escorts.
4. It only loses *up to* 10% hull & shields for above bonuses.
IMO, it needs to lose more hull/shields (like it did in the first revision on tribble) in order to be a balanced ship.
still to new to have a for shure op. but i was being out turned by defints today. i am full spec into it. if it had not been for my aux to damp i would have not made a faster turn to get them. i will test it out tommrow agenst the defint and fleet number wise then post it here. i do think there should be a little more of a cost for the use of mvam. maybe more away from power levels or hull? as for the tanking side of it well most are prob running with tss3. what do you expect less off for more def.
i know my BoP [Hegtha] using full Aegis at:
125/100
73/50
50/25
50/25
(all performance skills maxed and all efficiencies except weapons are maxed)
Inertia: 60
Turn: 42.4
Flight: 26.47
Hull: 31201
Shield: 10395 (using the Field generator)
In my MVAM with same skills and Aegis:
Inertia: 70
Turn rate: 29.2
Flight speed: 26.47
Hull: 39k
Shields: 11694
So comparative stats.
1) BoP gets a cloak for reduced Hull and Shields vs other escorts......and the B'rel gets even less for Hull and Shields due to its Cloak.
2) the MVAM doesn't get a cloak, but instead gets to separate into 3 ships and get the Speed, inertia and turn the a BoP does or even better in some cases.
So trying to keep fair, in love and war, does it not make sense that ship splits into 3 pieces thus splits its Hull and Shield into 3 parts? Well that would actually place it lower than the B'rel and here i am trying to make it fair....so how about when all is said and split each of the 3 pilotable parts has a Hull and Shield value comparable to the B'rel??
MVAM is completely OP, as I have been trying to say for quite some time now. I'm also leveling up a fed sci to put in one.
The BoP loses a lot for it's versatility, MVAM loses hardly anything at all. I think a 5 sci team in MVAM would be a sight to behold. 5 Ships become 30 on the opening, and those pets are spreading beta (with FAW no less) delta, BTWS (Even a slight drop in weapons power can hugely effect DPS) and BTES around. Yikes.
The Lt. Com sci is just a slap in the face to BoP pilots since the default MVAM boff config is very close to what a lot of us run, but the MVAM gets higher hull and shields, another weapons slot, another tac slot, another ensign boff, as well as pets and amazing maneuverability when in MVAM mode.
Easily the best Escort in the game IMHO, and it's sad to see that one faction is continually getting all the best toys. Feds now have the obviously best escorts, cruisers, and of course sci ships. The only ships Klingon's have left that do not have comparatively better peers Fed side are the recently nerfed Carriers, and I'm thinking that's only because the Feds don't have carriers :p
Right now MVAM is the "new thing" so everyone and their dog will be using it. This includes all of the fail fed pugs, who will fail at any ship. You need to see what good players can do with this to really judge it, and I think most good PvPers are still hesitant to play until the spam fix hits.
I am waiting until I seem some decent players in it. So far, I didn't have any experience suggesting it could be overpowered, but as hurleybird said - everyone and his dog will be trying the ship...
But we won't find out today. It's Shuttle PvP time!
PS: But still, from Sithterrors numbers alone, I am not finding it likely it will be overly strong. But then, those numbers don't account for the effect the other two vectors could have...

I agree the numbers alone don't make it OP. The major difference is you get a couple of free BO powers which might make it a bit OP (not saying that's the case because until now I didn't encounter a MVA which was unbeatable... not saying I didn't die to them ). Furthermore the "free" BO powers are AI controlled and therefore not as good as if you had total control over them. Maybe we could get a small menu for our pets like we have for ground combat for our BOs with which we can control their powers. But more control over space pets is a different matter again.
