MMM side weapons ports on the Enterprise F, I never got to fight it on tirbble (bangs head against table and sobs) which mission was it somebody tell me please don't make me beg.
If they give the Jupiter/typhoon these side weapons slots I think it'll perfect the dreadnought battleship that we've all been waiting for.
As for the BO slots
Tac = LCom
Eng = Com
Eng = Lt
Sci = LCom
Uni = Lt
Consoles 3 of each should suffice = four possibly 5 device slots
But just to really annoy every one I think it should have 2 shield slots similar to to the TMP enterprise
Screens and shields per say the secondary sheilds having say 50% cap and limiting you to having to use 2 styles of sheilding eg Regenerative + Covariant.
I'm probably hoping for to much but I can dream can't I

I like your BO layout :^D, I'm still getting used to the universal slots but they're cool and would be perfect for the Jupiter.
I can't wait to learn more on the logistics of the side weapons the new Enterprise has, hopefully it's something good and not disappointing (like a click power with a massive cooldown...). Hopefully there are actually side weapons and not our over active imaginations!
As for the second shield idea, I like that too. In fact you said it quite well, having a second shield at 50% power that must be of a different type than the first. Sounds reasonable, but could be overpowered (I know, it's a Dreadnought... But people complain...).
I hope to see the Jupiter coming out within a few months due to F2P's launch. They need to start kicking the C-store into overdrive like at Champions Online (their sister game, by the same studio) and the Jupiter should be on the list of development (along with the Typhoon).
So I was listening to the newest Jupiter Broadcasting and my question was brought up and asked to the Devs that were featured on the show.
Unfortunately they didn't quite answer whether or not the Jupiter or Typhoon would be on the radar for development, but their discussion was not heartening. Needless to say, none of them liked the Jupiter and scoffed at it's inclusion.
So since, the person who designs the ships hates the Jupiter... It seems we have a bleak future...

What makes it worse is that they like THIS ship more than the Jupiter...
Well, we'll keep trucking as we always have.

The show you are referencing is actually PriorityOne, not STOked (produced by Jupiter Broadcasting). Also I happen to agree with CapnLogan and Thomas, the Jupiter is big, bulky, and rather fugly, imo.
Still, sorry for you folks that like it as it does not seem likely to happen.
Though I happen to think the Fed Carrier from SF Command is not a bad jumping off point for a carrier for STO.

Thanks, we'll keep pushing for it nonetheless :^D. With F2P coming out I think it may be possible, money will make people do things regardless of how popular said thing may be.
As for the Starfleet Command ship, it's not bad... I'd fly it in place of a Jupiter, as long as it was as large as the Jupiter. My surprise came from people saying it was better looking... Why? Because it has a saucer?
The less said about this ship the better.
Srry Quil, but it´s very encouraging that the devs don´t share your, shall we say peculiar, taste.
People call the new Command ship(the Odysee class I guess?) a whale, well at least it looks like it can swim.
Jupiter class just looks like it needs to be blown up, ASAP. :p
I just want to say I really like the Jupiter. I you could put some beefier nacelles on it she'd be great. I definitely would like Jupiter and some variants to swap out parts for but keep the same general design.
if you edited the front end slightly to make it a bit less garish, it might look good. The galaxy-X is a good looking ship because it is based on a classic. If you redesigned the front end to look a bit more classic. Something like this could be a good alternative if you couldn't redesign the front end: http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/...s2/83418_5.jpg. It has already been asked if it could be the next Dreadnought as well. This may be a picture of a Terran version but it represents what I am talking about: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?q=...394CQBA&zoom=1.
Agreed, though to "sovereignify" it is NOT the right direction.
Remember the Enterprise J?
That´s the design direction that would make it look like an iconic "Human" Fed-ship.
More Galaxy class less fricken bath tub feel.
For all I care keep the four nacelles and turn it into a giant "pregnant" Cheyenne class. :p
