If there was ever going to proof that the devs truly don't care about anything other than Fed's than this was finally it for me.

The tempest windows were instantly fixed. right in the next patch.

The Ar'Kif fleet skin has been missing since the day it was launched, i've reported it over 30 times, no fix.

The Fleet B'rel is missing the D'Gavama/B'Rotlh skin that the retrofit has access to. Reported well over a dozen times and no fix.

These are not even missing assets just a simple someone screwed up and forgot to add these to the list of options. And yet the devs responsible cant be bothered to take 5 minutes and fix these yet the tempest is fixed instantly.

And of course there are other major bugs like the fed emblems being bugged on jsut about every single ship in the game and the mogh armor textures missing for some players, that i've been reporting for almost 7 months now and still get ignored.

I don't expect miracles, and i hate that i sound so angry in this post, but ya know what, i am. I find it really disgusting that basic bugs are ignored for two factions and fixed instantly for another.

The Galaxy Dreadnought and Venture have been bugged as long/longer then either of your ships. The Tempest was fixed in one week because, A: It was to fix the fleet windows - a pretty simple fix, and B: People are still spending money on that ship.

I was about to say, those ships are winning by about two years.

So inhumane superweapons, mass murder, and canon nonsense is okay, but speedos are too much for some people.

I can't speak for ships i don't own, though lets be honest, no one at cryptic cares about those ships. they probably care more about the KDF than the galaxy, case in point being how long the update took.

And i have basic game design knowledge and the problems with the arkif and b'rel are actually the same as this.

For the tempest someone forgot to put the fleet windows into the actual game so they don't show up. for the arkif/b'rel the fleet skin and b'rolth template were just not added to the list of things the ship can have, both exist just not in the tailor. it's a 5 minute fix for both ships.

The other problems are obviously larger but felt like including them since they keep getting ignored as well.

So your opinion is - one of Trek's most iconic ships isn't cared about and won't be fixed. A ship playable by 70-80 percent of the game base.

If they don't care about the Galaxy, what makes you think they care about the Arkif/B'rel and/or B'Rolth? They have my money. They have your money. Your opinion and my opinion no longer matter to them in ANY way, shape, or form.

My point was just the fact that it got ignored for years proves that the devs for whatever reason don't care, i also don't know what the issues are so i can't say if it's a quick fix or not.

And yeah obviously they have my money and they don't have to care about the arkif and b'rel but a 5 minute fix is just that, a 5 minute fix. Personally if i was being paid to make this game I'd work it into my schedule somehow and get it done. Though of course as a player i care more about the game than the devs probably do. Just a sad fact of development.

The emblem and mogh issues are pretty major issues and i don't expect a quick fix, but the other ones are. and if the galaxy one is a quick fix as well then it basically proves my point that they don't care. Which is also part of the point of this topic, just another one to point out that they don't care, unless of course a response or fix is made, both of which i doubt but would be nice.

Honestly cryptic should just 'open source' the models and textures like some other developers have done (CD Project Red for example with The Witcher) and the community would fix all the problems, of that i have no doubt at all as it's been done in many other games.

I feel you Neo, I've been reporting the Gal/Venture X for months now along with all the veteran ships they broke when S8 launched. Nothing, no fixes, no listing in known issues, just nothing. Like some other posters said, the Tempest is still selling, otherwise it wouldn't have gotten fixed and they wouldn't have cared at all. I gave the devs the benefit of the doubt for a few months, but there's either one ship artist, or they're just really lazy. That's the only reason some of these bugs could have persisted for as long as they have.

I agree that who'se the sorriest lot between spurned ship fans isn't really constructive.

My Romulan main has the fleet Ar'kif, and I've been aware that it was missing its fleet skin (I wanted to see it over the Ar'kala costume) but it never was in the tailor, so, now I have a Fleet warbird without a fleet material available to it.

Yes, I want to see this fixed. I'm happy the Tempest's situation was swiftly resolve, and I am eager to see the same repeated to other high profile ships.

Yup. I love this game and i've defended it a lot, but when basic bugs like this that take literally just a couple minutes to fix are ignored (not to mention the probably 1000 costume bugs that are ignored) it is upsetting. There are times with situations like this that i feel that cryptic has some of the worst developers ever for just not caring. Obviously it's not true and we they do give us a lot but take an hour out a week to fix some bugs and eventually you'll get them done instead of just ignoring us and pissing off your customers that are paying to play your game and keeping the game alive.

IF those of us who pay stop paying the game will die, if I was a developer i would want to do anything i can to make those people happy because they decide the fate of my job.
