Yes you can play STO in the palm of your hands , using the dual touch screens of the Toshiba Libretto , you can also play in one screen whilst logged onto the official site in the second , and in landscape and portrait ( open book ) orientations . The STO engine scales awesomely to any hardware you use it on , this is the third tablet pc I have played the game on , and for me this is most impressive a 7 inch ultraportable playing a full MMO .. fascinating

I can only imagine it runs like crap on the libretto. From what i remember its specs are pretty bare.

The vids would suggest otherwise. But it would make a great little platform for game managing... unless devs make android app for managing your DOFF stuff, than liberetto would not be "needed" (not that it was to start with)...

But overall, it seemed smooth enough. Wait another year or 2 and you will be able to play STO on your tablet, in it's full glory (well, not really since the i'm betting the screen won't be bigger than 10 inches diagonally )

Thats pretty neat actually, at first i assumed the post was about the LCARs style control interface for touchscreens some people use. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0C-YvOGWXg )

Wonder if you could do both? screens everywhere! yay

Ill still never get used to the idea of touch tech, the prospect of laying my filthy hands upon gear all the time is daunting
