# 1 Minigame: Phaser Range

Would it be possible to add a minigame that resembles the phaser range we've seen several characters in TNG use?
It would be a cool way to practice manual targeting in the new shooter mode and could give a some minor nice rewards maybe add a new daily.
Could be soloable against a clock: hit as many yellow targets as you can in 60 seconds.
Or it could be sort of PvP even: Hit more yellow targets then your opponent hits blue targets.

I second this. I was thinking of this bit when i saw the ground combat changes, and given the predilection of minigames being planned, down the road, this one would be interesting to try.

Course to have in time for an S4 release, has to garner if this minigame would be then worth having. But, still, I wouldn't mind seeing this occur. The pvp version would be on ESD and First City, as well as on new social planet zones, and personal versions in our starships, maybe in the same place as a future ship's holodeck.

Would make a good ship interior location, adding in a holodeck and invite your friends over.

Could also do melee "Amok Time" arena events as well.

Before the shooter mode came along i wouldn't have considered it to be doable in a proper, enjoyable way. Now, though? Yes please. Definitely.

Yep, this is something that would be both fun, and helpful. In the current "shooter" ground mode you have to be pretty accurate on some maps, but with this I could refine my skills to that isn't a problem. And, really, they just need to add holodecks in general!
