Hey,

I was just wondering at some point whether we might see shield impact effects from all angles, rather than the existing four.

The effect itself looks perfectly fine, it just looks odd when it doesn't correspond to where the shield is actually being hit.

One of the other things is the older ring and smoke effect that looks a bit wrong when next to the liquid effect of the larger shield. It would probably look better if it were removed and a smaller version of the existing large effect used.

This video demonstrates what I mean in terms of overlaying multiple shield impacts with a variety of effect styles.

And no, I'm not suggesting Federation attack turtles be brought into the game.

those shield rings should realy not be visible if i have shield rings deactivated in the options.
