We welcome every good pvper. You can join us with an ALT (or your MAIN) and add a tag to your ship to show the fleet you are coming from (-LF, -SoB, -Whatever, for example). We DO NOT require exclusiveness.
It sickens me you say you want all good pvpers, yet it is obviously a FED fleet. Does not compute

There's going to be very different opinions on what is, or isn't "lame" or non-trek play. Tractor beam repulsors are nearly non-existent in trek battles, for example. Ok, scram 3 is a no no. What about scram 2? What about snb + shockwave / cpb + trico? What about etc. etc. etc. These are just examples, but whatever someone calls "lame" another is bound to disagree. We're all human, and as people who like pvp, i'm betting we're all competitive.
Sure,

I thought a lot about this. And I came to the conclusion that, more or less, we all have the same idea of what is funny and what can ruin a good match.

Right now faw, SS3, peng are broken. But in the future (we all know how to work the criptyc, they create something that they think in PvE is fun, but actually destroys pvp [traktor Mines, faw, fighter, for example]) we will be completely protected from this.

If, for example, 30 pvper adhere to the community, we have endless possibilities to organize matches every day. and organizing we can avoid things like 3 or 4 healers and 2 scientists carrier, only in creating teams.

to make me understand better, i think SNB + shockwave / CPB + tricho is a tactic very functional, but you have to be very good to be able to do it well. Playing against 2 bop using it is fun, but not against 5.

Same for ss2, 1 is ok 4 is lame.

we can avoid any problems choosing, mixing, and remixing teams with all players taking part (think of how much we'll have fun!)

Well, now it's a Fed only "fleet" since those who founded it play mainly fed-side. Nothing prevents us from creating a sister KDF LoL Stars fleet if enough members have a kdf toon, or one of our members takes up the job of administering it.

No , of course not. we never thought of doing a single faction. In fact, I consider it essential to have both Klingon and federal.

If it can to please, anyone can stick with a fed character and a klingon character remaining, of course, member of own fleeet.

Of course not, you can, if you like, add a character, perhaps one that you use better in pvp, and keep the tags on your fleet. Obviously any of your fleet pvper can join with one pg, and for example, we can organize a match "mixed vs your fleet" and the later one only mixed. Just my first idea.

Hey my friend

Interesting concept you have there and I think its amazing.

However I cannot leave my fleet, they would probably kill me if i did :p

But keep up the good work!

(I might not be in the Lolstars fleet, but in a figure of speech I am, ++ for clean matches!)

Hmmmm, Mini brings up an interesting point, and I support the the initiative of fair play (although, I do think that it ultimately needs to be up to each individual to take responsibility for following discussions about powers that may be unbalanced, and police themselves, rather than adhering to an arbitrary 'white list')...

So, rather than creating a physical 'Fleet', which creates the potentially awkward scenario of having to start a new Alt or move an existing toon (which, likely, is already a part of an established Fleet) into this new Fleet, why not simply add a tag to any of our existing ships? Perhaps add "-LOL-" after the name of our ship, thus, when you enter into PvP against such an opponent, regardless of his Fleet tag, you will know that this player supports the LOL-Star movement, supporting fair play...

For example, if I am flying my Sci/Escort, I'm in the U.S.S. Ares... I would simply change the name of my ship to the U.S.S. Ares -LOL-, and any match that I enter, other members of the LOL-Stars would know that they were facing an opponent who only wants to have fun and not employ broken or questionable abilities.

Just a thought,
-Big Red

KDF fleets run little sister fed fleets... Fed Fleets running KDF are called FEDons. Sorry.

Also, for community purposes, a chat channel would be helpful, I suppose, especially if not every toon is in that fleet.

But I am not sure how much this channel would differ from the Organized PvP chat channel.

I think BigRedJedi's idea about going the opposite way and making -LOL- part of the ship name to indicate membership might be better. Maybe. There are certain advantages to having a "real" fleet as well (shared event calendar, fleet mails and so on.)
