Its primary mission is finding peaceful solutions to galactic conflict. Made up of scientists, engineers, diplomats, and a handful of tactical officers, FSF's primary function is the fostering and creation of Foundry missions for science, engineering, and diplomacy scenarios. Any race or type of player is welcome, though English language speakers are preferred. Specific plotlines may involve any of the following: the Kolinahr rite, detective-style investigations, secret societies of non-Vulcan seeking to attain Kolinahr, the Vulcan-Romulan conflict, complex diplomatic missions, missions involving the history and culture of species, first contact, and defense-oriented combat missions.
First Seleya is open to all characters and species, and is appropriate for casual through intense players.
First Seleya Fleet Ranks
FOR MORE INTENSE GAMERS
1. Division Commander: Entry-level member. May assign themselves a division number. 1-5 = Science Division. 6-10 = Engineering Division. 11-15 = Tactical Divisions. 16-20 = Diplomatic Division. For example, First Seleya Fleet, 4th Engineering Division Commander.
2. Division Captain: Member who has created a Foundry mission with at least three 5 star ratings.
3. Division Admiral: Member who has created two or more Foundry missions with at least three 5 star ratings, that are pertinent in some way to the plot development of FSF.
4: Fleet Vice Admiral: Member who has fulfilled requirements under items 1-3, and has contributed significantly to the FSF cause. Vice Admirals are chosen after member petitions the Council of Admirals. Vice Admirals are placed under the auspices of a Fleet Admiral.
5. Fleet Admiral: Member who is part of the decision-making Central Command Council. Fleet Admirals have decision-making powers over the general plotline of SFS, and suggest Foundry mission topics and submit requests for missions to STO. Fleet Admirals must have been a consistent member of FSF for at least 3 months, fulfilled the requirements under items 1-4, and be voted in by a quorum of Fleet Admirals. No one Fleet Admiral outranks another. Once more than one member ascends to Fleet Admiral rank, there will be no single leader of the Fleet.
FOR MORE CASUAL PLAYERS
Alternatively, ranks may be granted to less involved players at the discretion of the Fleet Admirals. Help with Foundry mission plotlines, the presentation of good ideas, or simple courtesy and good gamesmanship may be used as requisites for advancement.
Regardless of your level of play, the point is to have fun, and improve the STO experience!
