If it's so "obvious" tell us how you've deduced this? I'd say this is EXTREMELY likely to be real, what do you think all those devs who were working on Cataclysm have been doing since it launched?

Anyway, like I said in the OP, I made no claims to it's validity. What it could also be is a tiny bit of truth that someone ran with. It really doesn't effect me either way, since I don't play that game anymore.

An old guildmate sent me that to try to suck me in. What clued me in is that it originated from the same place as the "level list" image, and uses the same basis for the post-Cataclysm expansion as the old and busted hoax.

They've had some notable leaks, but really, Blizzard's better at keeping a lid on their leaks than a lot of companies. They managed to convince the world for a couple years that WoW was actually Starcraft II, driven home with comically weak protests that it wasn't, constant Starcraft related teasers, and carefully crafted Q&A answers that couldn't possibly have meant Diablo 3 or another WC3 expansion.
