"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
I got some ships back when there were cryptic points, galaxy-x, nebula tier 5, I was under the impression those were unlocked for all accounts and I could use them when my other captains reached Tue appropriate level.
This seems to of changed. Half the ships I have purchased look like the need to be rebought in order for another character to use.
It's more of a text bug in the cstore, i noticed this and also started to worry that i need to buy them again, but i popped onto my VA engi and I could claim all the ships still, so to me it seems like a visual error and nothing to worry about.
For some odd reason instead of saying 'restricted' it displays 'purchase' if you are a lower level than what is required to use it, but when you reach the required level it changes to 'claim', still though it is a tad confusing and i'm sure there are a few players who thought 'WTF' as well, hopefully cryptic fix this as soon as possible.
At least once you have bought them you can go up to the shipyard and claim them from there too, with the exception of the gal-x I believe.
As someone who has purchased all the FED ships over the course of several sales here's what I've figured out:
- The ones that are stamped "unlocked" have a price on them, but if I go to ship requisitions in game I can acquire another one for free (tested in game). I believe the price is a glitch with the website but I'm not willing to spend 1200 points to test this.
The ones that don't say "unlocked" are listed as free and can be pulled directly from the C-Store in game any time I want one (tested in game).
The only ship still missing seems to be the TOS Connie, and it’s not even showing up for the one FED alt I have that didn’t have it before on both the in game C-Store and the website version. So either it’s down because of an error or it’s been pulled. Either way I want it back because I paid for it.
I spent past two days addressing a missing ship with Atari support. They finally found my purchase but c-store still has yet to credit me with them so I am not sure what is going on. I hope whatever the problem is they fix it soon. I still have more points to spend! So far the list of things missing include species, ship, bridge pack, costume etc. Hope this helps whoever fix the issue. The missing things are not showing unlocked and are showing a price I haven't deleted them from my characters for fear of actually having to buy them again. I'm leveling a new character so when it reaches VA maybe I can find out for sure.
in regards to my first post in this thread i believe i was wrong, just decided to have a look at both the ingame cstore and the web based cstore and even though i have bought every fed ship (don't ask why) i fnd that i suddenly have to purchase all of the refit variants again.
this is plain stupid now, first i buy them in the last 50% off during a Q Boost weekend and now i have to buy them again, sorry but i'm not going to pay for something twice that is supposed to be unlocked permanently for me entire account from the first purchase, come on cryptic sort this out.
also i cannot contact live support or submit a ticket in game or out of game, it just gives me a message to try again, and after 4 attempts to send the ticket you kinda get the message that it is not going to get sorted.
