Ive always loved the Excelsior, but man, some of those refits are beautiful. I'd fly that Krakow Class in a heartbeat.

glad you like them though, i can't take any credit for finding them, i just show them to people
but yeah, i hope we can see some of these models in-game for the Excelsior (i just hope there are no legal issues involved for them)

wish there was a view of it I'm assuming the darkened area around the front of the neck is recessed. same thing with the bottom arc along the profile it would really nice if it was bowed inward slightly when looking at it from the back.

hmm, unusual words, but i do see your point i think it would have made a great JJ-verse Excelsior as well, and i hope to see it in-game at some point (alternate realities do cross over occasionally, and starfleet can just happen to get the design schematics for it )

They do an excellent job of bringing the design forward.

yeah, those do look good for an Excelsior variant they could even be a Sovereign variant (it'd be a stretch, but it could be one)

To be honest, i was never a fan of the Excelsiors bulky hull, its small saucer and it's way too long nacelles.
I wish there could be a completely different ship alternative.
It's just not a good looking or balanced looking ship IMHO.

I have tried to make a Alternative variant myself, nothing special but i think it could be a nice addition.

(Ok, it's not a very "balanced" design but i my goal was to make her look at least a bit elegant)

Live long and prosper.

Myself and other have suggested the Ambassador Class to be an alternate skin for the Advanced Cruiser Refit.

That is an awesome idea! One less ship skill to learn and it's a nice version of the Enterprise that's not so... well, you know where I'm going.... =)

We already have a new class that could work as an excelsior refit skin, and it would solve another problem at the same time.

The Dedication Class from the Ent-Fail contest.
