To be fair, they gave us all a respec token

I don't see where your coming from unless you were running common or uncommon items prepatch because they didn't make that big of a difference. My engscort is as tough as it was prepatch. I think the ui may be your issue and not your build. I know I've been surprised quite a few times already to learn I have a snb on me. I'll go to reach for a power and see a big cd timer still on it and realize Ive been nuked but can't see it on my buff bar.

Something else to keep in mind is the level of players right now in pvp seems to be a lot higher on average due to the broken queue system. It seems to be mainly die hard pvp players that are queueing up and dealing with the frustration of the missed queues for sometimes over an hour at a time. I'm not saying your not a good pvp player, I'm just saying right now, almost all the players your running against are also very good players with very little noob mixed in the group if at all.

There are some great science escorts out there that can be nasty ****s. Never underestimate those small packages.
Sciscort is the bestscort in my opinion. Apa and initiative is nice and all, but a sensor scan, dampening field and a life ending snb can't be beat :-)

Yeah, it works nicely for dealing with those pesky hardened targets.

Hey man, don't fret! We've all had days like you are describing where nothing works like it used to and we just can't figure out what's going on. At least, I don't think I'm speaking out of turn, but god knows I've been in a bad way on more than one occasion.

I've had to accept that there is always a learn to play component. Even when something worked right 100 times in a row it doesn't take much to screw with my flow. Sometimes I think I become a bit complacent or even underestimate someone just because I don't recognize a name. If it's been a long day I like to pew pew to unwind a bit but if I'm tired my eyes start to get strained pretty easily. When I make mistakes, or get pwned too embarrassingly fast, I start to get frustrated and then I screw up even more, lol. It's a nasty downward spiral!

Seriously, venting is good for the soul (everyone should do it more so I don't feel like such a little punk). My unsolicited advice, step back and take a breath. Even if you don't leave the game for a bit try engaging people a little in chat. It might be lame but as long as it isn't too offensive make some stupid crack about RAMMING SPEED (ok, it's very lame). People won't always laugh but sometimes you can really get some silly **** going to lighten the mood, lol.

On a side note, as someone who fully acknowledges that he does not have all the answers, I have to ask you why on earth (or Qo'nos as it were) would you use Science Team 3 over any number of other significantly better options (hurray for more unsolicited advice)? If you snag that Reman bridge officer reward with Transfer Shield Strength 3 you'd be helping your self out so much more. I get that a quick shield heal is good, but Science Team can't possibly compare to the resistance and heal of a high aux Transfer Shield Strength. But I digress. That's not going to make everything great and prevent any more bad days (at least, it hasn't for me yet >_>).

Anyway, long story short, l2p noob.

Hale. Sci team 3 is a great weapon. Boost that tss3 with st3. Boost that he2 with st3. Boost target subsystems with st3. I had lots of fun with target subsystems beamscorts with sci captains. St3 on a mvae, that's a tougher sell I think because psw or tachbeam3 can work so well. But the power itself I find very useful.

I've been having similar issues with my defiant. I used to be able to stick around a little bit after a kill and go after the next target, but if I want to survive since the patch, it seems I have to go pure hit & run. The covariant nerf and damage increases really hit me hard. I guess I have to adapt, but it's frustrating that after six months of work I just got the build as perfectly as I could get it and was pleased with it, and now I probably have to change it. It's almost like getting the short end of the stick in a way.

If you say so. I find it hard to believe but I wasn't aiming to derail anything so I'll just stand corrected for now, lol. To each his own. ^^
