# 1 $62.50 for 5000 Atari Points?
07-14-2011, 01:34 PM
This seems like so much. I was looking at the store and I can only buy a few items with this.

Can I get these items in the game without having to pay? $25.00 I could pay but $62.50 is serious...why not just make it $100.00?

Most of them you cannot get another way.

It is a lot. A bulk discount would be nice, but alas, you're paying the same per Atari point no matter how many you buy.

Most C-Store items aren't available in the game. The VA level ships are an exception, but their in-game cost is also prohibitively high (after you get one free). In the end, none of it affects gameplay.

it's the same exchange rate Microsoft uses for their MS points on Xbox live and Zune marketplace.

Of course, Atari sold Cryptic, so how long will Atari points be used in game?.
Will we be using Perfect World tokens next week?
If so, what happens to my Atari tokens?

A good question. I, too, would like to know this.

I assume that they would be either transferred to whatever currency that Perfect World uses, stays the same, or there will be two types of currency for awhile with a c-store purchase of buying the new currency.

That is the way it worked before, they went from Cryptic Points to Atari Tokens.
