I agree, the effect needs to be slowed, at the very least just so we can admire the new animation.
It is infinitely better than how it was and looks amazing, even if it was just left as it is now, it would be a massive improvement.

Interior does need changing to be more in line with the show though.

Thanks for the reply its great to know the development continues to bring it closer to IP.

Thanks to everyone else for positing a video and adding more points like the Nebula in the background and the speed overall. While I agree that in game terms, we will interact much more with DS9 and it's interior itself than the wormhole (at present anyway) I don't agree that it is a 'menial detail'. We have all experienced how much better the remastered ESD is compared to the at launch version - and that it actually makes a difference to your gameplay. It makes it so that this isn't just a generic scifi game, but that it is a recognizable Star Trek Universe Online game.

I for one think it's wonderful that they keep working on the little details. This is the third version of the wormhole in game and it's amazing. I parked my ship outside ds9 for 5 minutes just to watch it open and close, lol.

Indeed, this looks 10 times better then the old Version.

i would suggest to slow it down a bit.


most importantly, make the zoning the same way as it is done with the *doors* of ESD,
i do NOT want to have to Press F anymore in these Situations please.
