They could, at the very very rock bottom least, find a new way of naming/integrating the C-Store so its less immersion breaking.

Call the tokens 'requisition points' or something, change 'C-Store' to 'Rare Equipment Stocks.'

EDIT; just look at BSG online which calls its 'C-Points' cubits, an in-universe premium currency.
