Hi,

I want to maximize the power of my sci, so I created a new sci with traits that are more usable for space-pvp (especially 1vs1).

The question is, which of the following space traits is - on a long term - the better one:

- Elusive
- Astrophysic

Mainly, I will play a schield-drain or photonich-shockwave sci i think in a Deep Space Sci Vessel. Ground skills are absolutely unimportant to me.

Space traits, I already have:

- Accurate
- Efficient Captain
- Warp Theorist

as this skills in my opinion are absolutely essential for space-pvp.

I would go for astrophysics. As far as what you want to do, a shield stripping CPB + shockwave combo is popular (CPB3 + shockwave 2) and you have another ltc sci slot to play around with.

Elusive is a Must Have. As a Sci you could think about dropping Accurate. I mean lets face it, your not going to do much damage while on full Aux - no matter if you hit or miss. If you still wanna keep Accurate, I'd drop Warp Theorist.

Dropping warp theorist is probably the best. Keep accurate in case you want to try your hands at a sci / escort build someday.

Thanks for the first hints!

Accurate I do not want to dropp, because i play most of time 1vs1 pvp and i must do damage as well.

Therefore, my energy settings, most of the time will be 75 for weapon, 75 for aux.

I will buff the energy levels with emergency power to weapons respectively aux battery.

Further hints are welcome!!!

For science characters sure, but wouldn't other classes benefit from having warp theorist instead of astrophysicist? The power level bumps for your lower priority subsystems get a significant boost from the combo of it with efficient, right? I'm currently planning a tac alien with accurate, elusive, efficient & warp theorist, and thought that would be the best, partly because of the power levels.

Those five do certainly seem to be the best for space.
