A while back Dstahl mentioned they are working on a new hair technology, once it is finished they'll do new hairstyles for the races. That would include Caitians. However we have to be patient till this stuff is finished.

This information is now pretty old, roughly a couple of weeks after the Caitian have been released on C-Store, since then it got pretty quiet about this topic.

Well, the hair technology has been coming for some time, and it was said that Caitian BO's would not come about until the hair technology was complete. At the time, I said that I would be perfectly happy if there were Caitian BOs, even if they DIDN'T have hair, if that meant I didn't have to wait on the Caitian BOs.

Lo and behold, we have Caitian BOs, and they don't have hair. And I STILL would rather have them without hair than not at all. (Not that I'm not waiting for my M'Gwaine to get her mane of white hair. )

Actually Catnip is a member of the mint family, and would most likely not be a controlled substance. It's also doubt full it would have any effects on Caitians at all. it might have no effect on the, to being a deadly poison. and everything in between.

Still if I was a caitian, I might have a catnip mouse on my desk just for laughs if nothing else.

They have the hair tech, it got made with the Caitians, the beards the male caitians have uses that hair tech. They simply can't be arsed making them, likely because it's not something they could sell seperately to us on the c-store.

There was a time, when people were initially asking for this, that i was all "have patience! They said they're working on them so we'll get them soon.' Boy do i have egg on my face now, that's what i get for having a little faith in their abilities i suppose.
