I was thinking about the whole warp in/warp out, beam in/beam out problem that authors are having with foundry maps and I think I've got an idea. Instead of adding another stat to the creature profiles (which are, frankly, confusing enough), just add a spawn/despawn trigger that can be placed in the mission storyline.

-------------------------------
Action: spawn/despawn
Animation: Warp in/decloak/Q flash/Changling morph
Target: Actor X

Wow, not even a flame. Didn't realize the idea was that bad.

No it's a fine idea. It's just that we've been asking for something like this for so long we've given up trying.

There should be a spawn/despawn trigger and also an animation trigger that can cause any object/actor to play any animation, with a tick box for one-off or looping.

Similarly, there should be plot boxes that change varieties of behavior on any choosable entity, including:
Pathfind to a marker
Teleport to a marker
Bark a speech bubble (with the speech entered on the trigger)
Become hostile/nonhostile

And trigger conditions:
NPC has reached waypoint
NPC has less than 25% health
