Heal cruisers are unique to feds? Since when? Science ships are the one thing where the feds have significantly more (and better) options than the Klingons.

And I completely agree with Mustrum, where are we supposed to gain this experience if not in a tournament with lots of challenge matches?

Please do argue your case, the Idea was not to make it so ppl would have intrepid bop starcruiser ... but more of actually ppl using varanus and such.. Anyhow im up for the discussion.

Mvam, karfi, vo'que, orion turd, vulcan ship, and now every ship have some type of deployable pet

So another thing if you have played as a substitute for a team, ie your not one of the five starting players from the team you will be locked to that team for the rest of the season.

If you want access to the bird, you have to take the junky support ships. If you want a Klingon war of attrition build with carriers, you have to take the inferior escorts. Basically if you want these tools, you have to play klingon and accept all the drawbacks involved with it.

All having cross faction will do is discourage all of the fed fleets from playing a true Klingon team. Currently there are are only two dedicated Klingon fleets in the game. There is also no reason to use the Varanus, the Orion Marauder, the Goomba, the Vorcha, the Raptor in addition to the already useless Brel and possibly Karfi as well. The only Fed ship that would be ignored is the Galaxy (negh is superior), but no one uses that anyways, so there is no loss.

Hey SoS is a dedicated KDF fleet. Unfortunately I would like to join a KDF team because I do not have true 100% healer in SoS we have healers but with a side of DPS

Allowing true cross-faction teams could help to actually see whether some ships are as good as the other side always claims they are. Would we really see a pure BoP+Intrepid team as the dominating group? And wasn't the MVAM supposedly better than the BoP so MVAm+Intrepid is the best anyway? Why can't we have cross-faction teams and find out? And maybe we would even see the occasional raptor on an originally fed team.

Actually, I'm more interested in the Klingon cruisers.

So why are you banning faction switches between matches too? This could be a starting point for more Klingon fleets. By disallowing faction changes you lock all the primarily fed fleets into their fed gameplay without any chance to experiment with klingon gameplay.

Cross faction teaming is not going to change imo, and here is the reason why its to prevent the most powerful teams read qew, tsi, re to make even stronger teams, if there is wide consensus from other fleets, FS, LORE, and anyone else who are intrested in joining this tournament to change this then we can consider it.
Also the problem with this is the inability to practice your setups because you can't que up like this.
And the KDF and FED are at war /roleplay.

Changing factions between weeks is on the other hand something we are considering to allow.

As your irony is lost on us and all it does is lead this discussion astray, maybe it would be better to keep it out of here?
And for the rest of us it might be better to ignore it as well, and keep focused.

One clarification: What do you mean with substitute - a different player or just different toons?

Different @handle,

A player whos @handle is already on a team is locked to that team for the entire season, he/she cannot use another character with same @handle for another team.
