As it turns out, the people who didn't get it right the first time they released it, also didn't get it right the second time. So unfortunately these little Pengers still need a fair amount of work. It's not about nerfing anything, it's about fixing things to create balance. ^^

Let the Klingons use the peng and all talk of it will disappear.

Hardly. The talks will be even louder once the feds realize how much havoc a bird of prey firing while cloaked can cause using these. The nerf still needs to happen, Klingon or not.

There is no way the Klinks will get this torpedo as it currently exists. If by some strange chance it did happen, the complaints wouldn't stop, they'd just come from Feds instead (assuming they stepped out of FvF).

It's also horribly imbalanced at low levels where hulls and healing are at a minimum.

the devs are planing to give the same fed mission to klinks but in ther point of view and you right if the peng remains when that mission given to klinks ku'rat(sp??) will be filled wil be'rel(sp??) refits.. so it needs to be fixed not nerfed like 2.5% chance of the proc working.

I prefer a setup using at least 4 torpedo tubes .But yeah i only had about 700K against two escorts.
Still this is going to get nerfed too lol.

OMG are you freakin serious ... Players with real talent dont even use them at all .... Its an unfair advantge expecially when they are being spammed ... I find it lame that 1 weapon can make a difference to the extent that these Peng torpedoes have... Yeah I know Feds are all for them because now a player that has little or no skill can take out a person with skill... Which is lame as hell... I also know klingons say repeatedly myself included that they are a weapon that is unfair to them ... I also know that several of you fed guys will address what I just said and you will be all for them ... But what if klingons had them and feds didnt ... then this whole thing would be twisted around and it would be feds crying about how unfair it was... The real problem is Atari/Cryptic for even letting 1 side have them and not the other... I am all about an equal playing field... I think feds should be able to have carriers also ..... I personally wont use the Hargh peng torpedo on my fed toons because like I said its lame to exploit what I consider an unfair advantage and I dont need that to show that I am a good player

When almost every single person in PvP is using pengs and all other torpedoes have become obsolete... then you know something is VERY wrong.

this has actually nothing to do with talent but logic.
Why would anyone use something else than Har'pengs when the whole PvP instance spams them against them?
They do btw have a disadvantage vs Quantuums: I have NEVER seen even one of them critting for 25'000 dmg.
