The game was only released about a year and a half ago. So what you're saying is, that you haven't played the game at all since release, and then come here telling us we know nothing, and that yours is the only voice that should be listened to because you were here at beta?
I can't see that working somehow. KDF is NOT overpowered. Feds are slightly better at everything.
There are only a few BOP builds that actually work, and ALL of them can be replicated on the fed side, and all the replica builds on the fed side have more hull, more shields, and sometimes more speed and turn rate.
I really do think you have a lot to learn, your opening post and your clearly misinformed opinions are testament to this fact.

Tac Init Load BOL 3 wait 15 seconds Decloak... BOL 3... Shockwave... Rapid Fire 3 Beta 1... weapon bat... BOL 3. Good night. 2 Seconds.
So whats the issue?
Legit Stradagy. Works against one ship. Then your fighting that ships frineds. 50% of the time noobs hit tac team and negate most of the alpha and live. 80% good players do the same.
Learn to play against it... as it is Shockwave was nerfed to be non instant... (that gives you time to react) and not stack (that keeps you save from multiple bombing runs) Heck even aux to damp got a nice overhaul to make it more attactive.
Bottom line if you don't run tac team... why not ?
If you are having issues with shockwaves... then run Aux to Damp... again why are you not ?
There are a lot of things at work here that in all honesty can be truly overwhelming. I've been spending so much time leveling this Fed alt that I don't think I even remember how to PvP, lol. It just takes some time and effort, with some forethought, to figure out that this combination isn't terrible.
That is where your wrong. I have been playing MMO's for a very long time and in many games there is what gamers call a silence that stops your character from, for example casting abilities that require time. But what ever the case may be, even when silenced your toon can still walk over while silenced and hit you over the head with there weapon or use instant abilities that aren't effected by that silence. In advanced game balancing, silences of all natures are not ability specific, but prone to an entire type of ability forcing you to react in another way for the time you are silenced.
What I am referring to is, in STO, is when these chain of abilities are done to you, you are absolutely helpless completely and if timed right between 5-10 seconds and then obviously blown out of the sky. You cant use abilities, you cant rotate your shields, your a floating piece of metal. PERIOD. That is not what I call Balanced. That is what I call overlooked and OP! Unless your healed you dead.

The Feds can't do what the bop can do.... DO YOU PLAY this game.
The feds have every possible usable combination in the game.
Here is what a bop can do that a fed ship can't do better. Run a ship with NO tac officers. lol
Honestly think up any other combo... there is a fed ship with the same layout + one extra ensign... more hull more shield... and in some cases even better turn.
Also.... seeing as the game hasn't been live for 2 years yet... I don't think you want any of our thoughts anyway. lol
Oh good, you saw this post too. Yah this was the guy in Ker'rat **** talking in the Galaxy-X last night that we had so much fun blowing up with the TF guys. I guess that makes this posting our fault, lol?
While you did die pretty quick once or twice Pr0x, most of the time it took a good minute or two to kill you, and we were all focus firing on you because you were running your mouth. I even put you on mute because I just find that stuff pointless when it goes on and on and on (Though I just had to see what this post was all about). There were only around four of us klinks and what was it eight Feds at least all balled up, and all of them were running multiple copies of RSP.
That's your real problem, RSP is not so great anymore, powers have changed and you just gotta get used to it and adapt. And if you want to counter the stuns use APO or AtD, ST can clear SubNuc too (After the fact). And as Husanak said, you gotta run Tac Team 1 atleast, it used to suck before you left yes but now it's like the ultimate shield balance-r. While there are some broken things still in STO the old "I Win" combos of SubNuc+VM are long gone.
I've had cruisers survive my ambushesnwhen I'm in a BoP and I've survived ambushed in my Assualt Cruiser. Just takes practice.
But if your gonna **** talk in Ker'rat about how you can beat any klink 1 on 1 while you ball up with seven other Feddies, don't be surprised when the Klinks focus fire you. And it's tough for any single ship to survive being focus fired without strong team support.
Please stop being so condescending. People around here are more than willing to help you with any of your problems, you just have to be clear about what your issue is. No one knows what your mystery iwin cocktail is because no one here believes it exists (it might be that you are smarter than everyone else but we need to play the odds, Vice Admiral).
