I am sure there will be some reasonably drawbacks that ensure it cannot be abused with an ability like ablative armor for extended periods of invulnerability.

With us just hearing about it, and it's impeding release, at least we can be reasonably assured that it'll have been thoroughly tested. ^^

Yeah and I doubt it'll have any form of bugs since it hasn't been released to tribble for testing.

They do test things thoroughly, just look at the B'rel, and Peng 1.0

The only potential saviour I see is that if, when your doppelgänger dies, your cloak drops, that could work to restore some balance. Then it just becomes a glorified jam sensors.
