Cryptic, you should be ashamed of yourselves. As a matter of fact, you should be brought up on charges of severe negligence for this grave omission to our canon costume choices. :p

As a young boy watching TOS, this costume did things to me that I didn't quite understand.

I had to laugh at this. The title made me think that this was going to be a rant thread. But you, good sir, made my day with this! And yes I would not mind having that... um... "uniform" in Star Trek Online.

Off Topic: I just barely remember that episode. Since I was born in July of 1989 I did not watch TOS when it came out, but I do watch it when it comes on TV. To my surprise late last week I found out that Star Trek's website has all of the episodes of Star Trek on their to watch for free with barely any commercial's. So I will have to take a look at the episode where this lady appears in.

"What Are Little Girls Made Of?"

The lovely actress is Sherry Jackson.

That episode is also the source of my forum avatar

Yep this one, and the Risa costumes need to be added.

I was on a beach on Risa a few weeks ago, looking really out of place fully clothed.

We dont even have a short sleeve shirt or shorts.

Ahh ok, thank you very much for posting the name of the episode. That was nice of you, saves me the trouble of searching google/wiki to find it.

And no offence on your avatar... but from here that thing that Kirk is holding looks... um... weird. :p What is that?

Ahh ok, thank you. It is hard to tell since the avatar images are small, wish they would be a bit bigger like some of the forums I am on.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Kirk was in a life or death struggle against a malevolent android so he astutely used the resources available to him, a stalagmite, as a weapon to defend himself. If you think that rock looks like anything else, or that Shatner chose to hold it in a counter intuitive way than one would be expected to hold a club, then it must be your imagination.

Anyway, I'm rather disappointed with this thread. I expected at least 500 replies by now in support of this important initiative.
