It was partially working in that you could find the names of captains although you couldn't click on them because it was broken. But now I see it is gone from the community drop-down altogether.

Are there any plans to bring this back? and back as a fully functional character/equipment viewer?

when I first saw it I had great hopes for it. a way to look at my skills and equipment while not in the game.
I fully understand a read-only scenario for this type of function though. But I believe it would be very handy when consulting others about character/ship builds were we could just provide a link with our questions. It would be great for bragging rights for all you uber elite folks too.

it would be like look at your D&D character sheet!
