Miranda Class - USS Raptor. A named i used frequently in SFC when i played klingons. IKV Raptor.

Consitution Class - USS Long Island. Seemed like a good name for the class, and of course, thats where I'm from.

Excelsior Class - USS Brooklyn Battery. Because, the ship has such an amazing battery of weapons, the hurt doesnt stop. And another local name Havent figured out what I'm naming my next ships.

Excelsior Class Refit - U.S.S. Ticonderoga - a name-history that is almost as long as Enterprise. It has a nice ring to it.

Sovereign Class Assault Cruiser - U.S.S. Arapahoe - It seemed to me that Sovereign class ships should be named for sovereign nations.

Defiant Class Refit - U.S.S. Yeager - Named for good old Chuck Yeager, and the hunter connotation doesn't hurt either.

MVAE - U.S.S. Crossfield - Named for A. Scott Crossfield, one of the co-creaters and first pilot of the throttle controlled rocket engine and the X-15 space plane, test vehicle and forerunner to the NASA space shuttle. (Thanks, Scott. Well done. r.i.p.)

Nebula Class Refit - U.S.S. T'Pau - Named for T'Pau, referenced in Star Trek since Amok Time. Vulcan dignitary that declined membership on the Federation council.
