Yes , a most useful force multiplier, for cruisers and science vessels. Not for BoPs, or Escorts.

I look at it as spoils from a Reman base.

I wasn't aware it was 50 uses either.. Mines been sitting in my bank since I first did the Vault.

Thanks for this thread! Going to go use that bad boy up and get me some more.

50 uses and you can have 2 sets of 3 fighters out at a time since each use is 3 fighters.

If you have it from when the mission was first released, I am not sure if you will have 50 uses. At the launch of the mission, it did not have 50 uses; I can't remember the number but you did get 5 fighters at each use.

50 uses. Each spawns a squadron of 3. You can only have 6 deployed at any one time. You can launch them if there's an enemy within 15 KM, but once they're deployed, they'll fly at whatever you target, regardless of distance. I once got them to chase down a Cube squadron from 50 km.

They have proven a most useful backup to me, so I flew the Vault mission again yesterday just to equip myself with another set.
Warning: you can't receive another 50 squadrons until you have completely used up the current 50. (And it's true that it's really only 49, because the 50th squadron doesn't actually spawn. This might be a bug.) Yesterday I completed the Vault and selected the Scorpions reward with one squadron of Scorpions remaining, and received an error message. So I flew another mission during which I used my final squadron from the original, and then mid-mission I hailed Starfleet and selected the Scorpions as a reward to complete the repeat of the Vault mission. I am happy to report that I know have another 50 uses of the Scorpions.

150 Reman Shuttles? Seems a little much. I still havne't figured out how I stored them on my Defiant.

However you want to imagine the reasons for receiving scorpion fighters go ahead. I was addressing someone wanting faction specific fighters with a possibility of why it is the way it is.

What are your suggestions?

If you can't "believe" an escort would hold the shuttles, then don’t use them on the escorts.
