As a Klingon in Starfleet at a time of declared war with the Klingons, I would think that he/she would have dishonored themselves in the eyes of Klingon society at large, and as such would face discommendation. They would not be permitted to wear a sash since they turned their backs on the Empire.

Worf obviously didnt share that opinion when HE went on wearing his sash he was dishonored (at both occasions), even when Starfleet more or less WAS at war with the Klingons during DS9 S4/5.
So canon prooves you wrong.

Also: Who should permit it?
Strafleet allows Bajorans to wear their earclips... allowes everyone to wear what they want and not the Klingons to wear sashes?

And the Klingons: How should they be able to permit anyone in a Federation with wich they are AT WAR ANYTHING?

It wasn't a declared war and Worf never turned his back on the Klingon Empire.

While I like the idea of Fed Klingons wearing sashes, I really hope that REAL Klingons get a Major General and Lt. General sash long before the traitors get one. And since, everything that we Klingons get is always through the C-store, then yes, it would definitely have to be a C-store item.

Quote:
The First Battle of Deep Space 9 opened the Federation-Klingon War of 2372-2373. In early 2372, a Klingon task force led by Chancellor Gowron and General Martok launched an attack on the Federation space station of Deep Space 9, in an attempt to force Captain Benjamin Sisko to relinquish the Cardassian Detapa Council members under his protection. The Klingons had under-estimated the station's defenses, and were unable to take the station before the arrival of Starfleet reinforcements. Faced with the prospect of massive losses and an escalating war on two fronts, Gowron ordered his forces to withdraw.
Quote:
When preparations were complete, a Klingon task force of over twenty warships, led by the IKS Negh'Var, arrived at Deep Space 9 claiming to be supporting the Federation in their stand against the Dominion. Once their true purpose was discovered, Captain Benjamin Sisko urged Martok to reconsider their plans. With reckless disregard of Starfleet's refusal to support them, the Klingon fleet proceeded into Cardassian space, commencing Klingon-Cardassian War. Bound by their alliance, the Federation could do nothing to interfere, although Sisko "unofficially" sent an advance warning to the Cardassians through Elim Garak. A few days later, the Federation Council condemned the Klingon invasion. Outraged that his ally had refused to support him in "defending the Alpha Quadrant" from the Dominion, Gowron withdrew from the Khitomer Accords and broke off all diplomatic contact.

So if you can't get it the way you want nobody else should either? I play both and love both, and think that both should get plenty of non c store content. I have a feeling this is happening sooner than we expect.
