I will be holding a seminar on How Cap N Hold works at StarFleet Academy. Schedule is tentative. Keep an eye out for updates. Yes Cap N Hold has an objective that doesnt involve your 5 team mates clinging together to **** the scoreboard so you can screen shot your 6 figure DPS count and show it to your mom.
Cap N Hold can be challenging and fun if you learn how to hold an objective with less help and healing. Sneaking around capturing an objective with as little help and resources as possible. Ducking and dodgeing, bobbing and weaving. Shinanigans. Its not the wagon wheel cruiser fest your used to but its somethng different!

Wait, wait, wait... So... You're telling me that C&H doesn't mean Concentrate-on-Hale & Hale-Targeting?!

Drat, this ruins all of my carefully-laid plans...

I will not play c&h right until they change to time that it takes to remove a enemy captured point. Meaning when you have some escorts just flying around and removing capture points and not staying (so it turns back to white).

I hate c&h in its current form. I will only play c&h like arena. To change my mind they need to fix the times on capture points. Another idea, once an team captures a point a small base should start to form defending that point with defenses.

I like that idea. Building up defenses over time at the capture points and requiring these to be taken out before the flag turns back to white would make lot of sense.

I actually quite like C&H as it is now, especially when playing as Klingons, you can be very sneaky. I don't understand why Crimsonoa is complaining about the 'removing enemy captured points' time; it seems fine to me.

If you don't want people to just make it neutral, tell them.

I am also an offender I must admit. I would rather win the game and have a good pew, but given the choice between the two, a good pew will always win out.

You Cap, I'll keep the enemy occupied so you can.
Although, If your seminar is going to train more Feds to split up & try to hold points alone, I hope it gets a lot of participants.

CnHs problem is not necessarily that people don't get what it's about. The problem is that what it's about is not so much fun to do. Capping is very boring. It's more fun to fly around and shoot people up. And unlike in Arena, you don't have everyone flying in his Fed or KDF ball, you have varied scenarios, thanks to the few that actually do what is "necessary".

There must be a way to make the capping process more interesting and more rewardig while keeping the chaos.

Maybe:
1) More ships capping does not yield much better results, while small teams capping is still reasonably fast.
2) There is a 2nd Capture State where mines and turrets are spawned around the objective, hardening the capture points against enemies.

Overall this would mean it's a good idea to spread out - but not too far, because then your enemy will just take you down. People that focus on capping more get better benefits for their respective capture point.
