This means what, exactly? I'm aware there is an upcoming MMO for TFs, but what does that have to do with my sig and my STO sub?

I dunno, I really enjoyed the three SW prequel movies. I don't read the novels or anything so I was never disappointed on that aspect. It had also been several years since I had re-watched any of the original movies, so it was like a fresh new triology to me.
I don't know what to tell you then. I've only read a few books (couple X-Wing books and the Han Solo trilogy) and I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to new ideas. I saw TPM on opening day and that's the only time I've ever watched it all the way through. I've never liked kiddie humor, even when I was a child, so most of the (expected) slapstick from Jar Jar, plus the BS with kid-Anakin, midichlorians and Trade Feds just made for an extremely unpleasent movie experience for me. With AOTC, the plot was like a dilapidated rollercoaster, and the "love" scenes were as entertaining as watching Star Trek V all day long for 3 days straight.

I think I understand the statement you're making, and it's both hilarious and sad.

Please, do enlighten me as to why I did my sig like that, then. I'd really like to know...

It's an opportunistic pun on your username, amusing as they go, declaring your intention to sever ties with STO, and it's sad that game has reached that state.

Yes, unfortunately, you are correct. And I must apologize - I initially misread your intent.

I really do have fun playing this game, but since the Season 4 patch = system crashes, I have no choice but to leave...for now.

I'm pretty sure my statement was taken way out of context. I meant nothing by it other than stating that it appeared to be incorrect if you were stating that you're quitting STO when TU comes out, which won't be until into 2012.

New TV series, oh yeah! Still need that!

For the 2009 film? They were quite good. Here's the IMDB Link for the film's box office.

It was a success.

Plus what are the odds of a sequels succeeding, as far as I know not very much but not extraordinarily bad it is a hit or miss with more than 200 million riding on it.
Serialized sequels still do pretty good at the box office.

The sequel to the 2009 trek movie is in the works.

The movie is thriving right now. The TV show is dead. It's gonna be awhile before that changes.
