Hey, I was playing STO yesterday before the update today, and everything was fine... but now I try to get on the game, and as usual after maintenance, it says "patching..." but it just sits there and does nothing. I can't get past the login screen, please help! :/

Hello captainjacksparow!

Please take a moment to navigate to the following directory:

C:\Users\Public\Games\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\piggs

Once there, locate a file (a smaller one will take less time) and delete it! That's right, just ditch it, it's okay as this action will force a patch from the server which in turn will hopefully not only redownload the now missing file but also fix any possible corruption as well.

Once this is done, you should be able to log into the game. Please let me know if it worked for you. If not, I'll continue digging.
