I switch between cruisers and escorts from time to time. Sense the Prometheus has a cruiser look to it, i tried using three forward dual beam arrays, instead of cannons. This allowed me to pick up attack pattern omega 3, but loose my torpedo spread 2 and high torpedo 3. I tested it out on the dafari dailies on advanced. It seemed to work much better then cannons.

My question is has anyone else tried this? If someone has, what was the results?
