well, i just started to work on my foundry missions today and almost imediately found myself between a rock and a hard place, so to speak

i managed to add a map transition, somehow, but then my dialogues got too complicated and so i deleted my test project and starting working on a real deal and then i found myself unable to add a map transition again

so:

how do i add a map transition?

also:

how can i add several effects to a ship (like idle - disabled, but also at the same time, idle - cloak)

Map transistions are added automatically, just use one of the "STORY" board items as follows: Drag interact with object to your story path, then select an object on a map other than the one you're currently on, and a Map Transition will automatically be inserted.

For mutiple effects that you asked about: You can only use one at a time in a specific category, I suggest try placing "Disable" in Idle and "Cloak" in Chat, if that is even an option on space items. This might give you a disabled ship that cloaks and decloaks at random, but that depends on the looping option on each effect, which of course we have no control over.

ok tnx, i found out about the map transition myself when adding squadrons to a kill enemies task so

and i guess ftl about the effects, chat only has text as an effect

ill post any further questions in this thread
