# 1 Bugged out ships

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if there is anything going on to fix these bugged ships I see flying around all the time with all the bo officer skills accessible and extra console slots? Itís not like you have to be a warp theorist to figure out that a defiant canít have aux to struct, emergency to shields and rsp going all at the same time when they are over 30k away from the closest team mate. With so many people worried about ďbalanceĒ you would think that it would be priority to get these stupid things out of the game already. Until then keep applying those double hazard emitters there champs (you know who you are)

Well, wouldn't we all like to know... But we're calling stuff like this Voldemorts for a good reason - the mods don't want us talking about it. Which one part is protecting us from people that know will do whatever they can to figure out how to replicate it for their own good, and to do some damage control as well, I suppose, as knowledge that these kinds of bugs are out there makes people less interested in doing PvP. If you don#t know if you lost because the enemy was better or you lost because he used a bug against you... It quickly feels pointless to fight at all.

In other words, pssht, you'll just get an infraction and the only answer you'll only ever get on this is if you're lucky a patch note and the fact that it doesn't work anymore, at any point int the future. (Soon (TM)).

I'm not sure that I stated anything that would be deserving of an infraction, and I'm not trying to accuse any particular persons or groups. I do however run across ships like this quite often and know the difference between a good pvp'er and a bugged ship with more skills than bridge officer slots. As far as ships having too many open console slots, thats tougher for any person to know for certain. That's why i wanted to know if this will be investigated and how we as players can help?

Report people whenever you see it, and keep the topic off the boards..

People HAVE recieved infractions for posting about it ("Discussing exploits" I assume)

Mis-using a bug is called exploiting. That's what's going on with this....uh, problem.

They've already had two tries at fixing this too. I'm surprised it's still being found.

A exploit is a bug that you can use to gain an unfair advantage. So you're right,but it might be insufficient as description, especially when it comes to the forum rules.

Or you see an engie using sensor scan in his escort. =p

Or you might see a Defiant using MES... er, people do that for some reason anyways.
