I noticed that when I switched to the Venture Skin for the Dreadnought, the upper cannon arrays are not being used. With the Galaxy skin I can use both dual Phaser beam or cannon, and they both fire from the upper two weapon arrays. The Venture shows both weapon types to fire from the sides of the saucer section!!!

its a bug they are looking into. The galaxy x has had similar bugs like this I just use the regular saucer and the rest the Venture skin until they fix it
I think it was is there a trick to getting the cannons and dual beams to fire from the top of the ship like its suppose to. The answer I gave is? its a bug so use the saucer it comes with and the rest use the Venture skin
