Please add the Thalaron radiation weapon back onto the Scimitar both for the single and STF missions. Without the weapon the ships seems pretty useless and I don't feel challenged when playing against it. This weapon also helps add to the realistic feel of the missions and without the weapon, it does not feel like a real Scimitar from Nemesis.

Yes please. Without the mass annihilation the fleet in First Strike makes short (and I mean short, like 5 seconds or so) work of the dreadnaught and the other Romulan ships. I don't even have to fire a shot myself, just put a scramble in there and you are done.
A scimitar without thalaron is like a doomsday device without planet destroying weapon.

uh what? was the Thalaron Burst realy removed?
why?


the Scimitar needs a huge rework of graphics and it's abilities anyway
should have lots of disruptor turrets + rapid fire / spread... and it should have B'Rel type cloak
just for starters

wasnt the scimitar a prototype anyways? should it even be a whole class of ships?

but yeah if its there, it should have everything the scimitar had in the movie....though i really dont like thalaron weapons being standard, just begs to be abused...imagine when the players can be romulan

The Romulans use thalaron left and right already anyway on the ground.
The disadvantag of thalaron beam is, that it grinds your ship to a halt, takes about 4-5 seconds to get ready to fire while every escort deserving the name zooms out of the firing cone/range.
Unlucky cruisers who still get caught in the blast have enough time to hit resistance powers to survive the blast (although it should result in a 100% crew death)
