WASD to fly and move, and Tat-tat-tat-tat, TATATATATATATATA my space bar with. (Apparently I fire my cannons in the rhythm of a Tommy Gun. I can't help it Honest ) my right pinky hits Shift, my left thumb Alt for power activations, and to quickly change songs to something more fitting to whatever is going on in pvp.... I think pretty much everyone in OPVP knows what my opening themesong is for my first match of the night.

Camera zoom in and out has been altered from the scroll wheel to Q, and E respectively.
I altered the CTRL row, from being well god awful CTRL to a much more intuitive (for me anyway) Shift row. Teamspeak/Raidcall/Vent's push to talk is Caps Lock.

Throttle Control has been shifted to the Mouse Wheel for me, which allows me nearly instantaneous control over how fast or slow I'm going. (There my secret is out. There's the Mav Hax right there. )

And now for the centerpiece of my gaming input, my Razer Naga. I'm a console gamer, I will never master the art of staying on WASD and using my # keys, infact I suspect most people never do, they just use Macros. Everything is at my Right Hand. I can click a target, Pan the camera, speed up or slow down and activate my powers all at once. Which is much more reminiscent of my Ace Combat, and Armored Core days.

Not an input device, but just as essential to my happy gaming is my chair. It's a bucket seat out of a I think a 77 or 78 240Zcar, with a set of casters under it, and center pillar. A chair that, direly should get WD40ed as it squeaks when I rotate the chair as I get out of it. Perfect comfort though for long term gaming.

u get a million quatloos for what you sit in. check is in the mail kid.

Yeah, that's a sexy mouse. If I didn't have my Naga I'd probably be all over that Saitek I got to piddle with one in best buy when I was shopping recently. It's a sweet mouse.

Me not use WASD, me always end up with pressing the wrong buttons

Me is using arrow keys

Numpad 4, 5, 7 and 8: Target teammates
Insert, Home, PageUp, Delete: Ship power levels
Right Shift: Full Speed Impulse
Right Control: Speed throttle up
End: Speed throttle down
Numpad 0: Distribute shields and other stuff
Numpad 1: Shooting stuff
Numpad 2: Torpedo/Mines
Middle Mouse button: Speed full stop

Me use mouse for clicking on targets and camera control. Sometimes when me is lazy, me only use mouse to fight

I recommend getting them at best buy so you can try them each out, for a while and then return them, and decide on the ultimate one that fits how you play.

I control my movement with keyboard (direction and speed) and click everthing else. Not just in STO, but all games.

Though, I do have my mouse on ultra-ultra sensitive. No one I know can stand to use my computer due to mouse sensitivity. I can cover the width of my monitor (24") with about 3/4 of an inch mouse movement.

Flying WASD, mouse wheel tied to the impulse engines (up increase speed, down decrease);

I have shield redistribution + EpTS (I and II) tied to the spacebar, torpedoes on keys 1 and 2; That's really about it, I tried experimenting with various keybinds but find all of them to be more confusing than just clicking the power - consider that I mostly fly a science ship that requires more fine tuning than just stacking stuff over stuff.

I also like to constantly use the mouse to keep the camera on target - I find the game's tracking to be extremely confusing, don't know why.

I will probably come up with something different for the Tactical Captain I'm leveling up.
