Hi guys and gals, I was wondering if any of you would care to share how you arm your Multi-Vector Escort. I seem to be stuck in a particular level of thinking and I'm wondering if there may be a better way for me as a Vice Admiral to lay her out.

I am a huge PvE guy, very little PvP, here's how I load out.

Front:
Phaser Dual Cannon MkX Purple
Phaser Dual Beam Bank MkX Purple
Quantum Torp Mk XI Purple
Harph-heng Mk XI

Rear:
Phaser Beam Bank Mk X Purple
Photon Torp. Mk X Purple
Tricobalt Torp. Mk X Purple

I have not been having any trouble with PvE, just looking for opinions.

Seems a lot of torps for pve, they only work well when the shields are down and you don't have much to take them down seemingly

Forward: (These are either mark x or mark xi)

Phaser Heavy Dual Canon
Phaser Dual Beam Bank

Aft:
Phaser Turret x3 (these are either mark x or mark xi)

for BOFF skills I do believe I have 1 Beam Overload level 3 and 1 FAW level 1.

this makes no sense with the BOff skills you listed as using, those are beam skills not cannon,Please explain your reasons.

Using Beam Overload III, Rapid Fire III, Torpedo High Yield III. This is, however, for the regular Advanced Escort, since I prefer it's console setup over the Multi-Vector. Works well for me.

I have a Fed/Klingon that flies this ship alot this is how i load it out

Front
2 Disruptor Dual Heavy Cannons Mk XI [CrtH] [Dmg]x2
1 Disruptor Dual Cannon Mk XI [CrtD] [Dmg]x2
Photon Torpedo Launcher Mk XI [CrtD] [Dmg]x2


Rear
3 Disruptor Turret Mk XI [CrtD] [Dmg]x2

some of my BOff skills consist with Cannon: Rapid Fire III, Cannon: Scatter volley II although I think I will down grade this one so I can use Torpedo:High Yield III

For PVE, I run:

2x Quantums, 2x DHC up fron
3x turrets rear

2x High Yield 3, 2x Rapid Fire 1, Omega III, tac team and torp spread for tac abilities.

Its a simple layout, designed to do maximum hull damage in PvE. Works damn well.

i Run a touch of a odd layout, but there is a method to the madness.

1 Phaser DHC
1 Phaser HC
1 Chroniton Torp
1 Phaser DBB

REAR (2 setups)

*1
3 phaser BA
*2
2 Phaser BA
1 Quantum Torp

Now, Why BA and not Turrents? Only 4 weapons can fire at a time, that is a set game mechanic. So on front passes i want my DBB and my DHC/HC to fire and not a lowly rear turrent. This also keeps my power high without having to run any extra consoles. Using skills i can move power around to help me elsewhere.

This setup is also a more "supportive" escort design to assist other escorts. Torp Spread 3, spreads the chroniton out at the primary targets, the DHC and DBB get buffed with Beam Overload (BO) and CRF skills, and a high yield is tossed in the mix as I pass the target shooting off Target Subsystem Shields and toss a few Quantums into the gap. It is design to force the target to blow their counters dealing with me, freeing the higher alpha DPS to come in taking advantage of the gaps created by my pass.

I don't know where you got the 4 weapons at a time bit, all mine fire at once.

3 Anti-proton DHC
1 Quantum torp

3 Anti-proton turrets

boff skills depend on if I am using my PvE or PvP set up.
PvE tac team, scatter shot, Torp HY 1 and 3, CRF 1 and 3, pattern omega, sci team, TSS 2, HE 1, EPTS 1, Reverse shield polarity 1. This one slaughters PvE cubes of same level in 7 seconds or less.

PvP Tac team x2, torp HY 1, Pattern delta and omega, CRF 1 and 3, sci team, TSS 3, HE 2, EPTS 1, Reverse shield polarity 1. Have MVAM advanced escort for this build. Note: I win against cruisers 95% of the time with this build.

I designed my builds for those two reasons. PvE max damage minor survivability. PvP max survivability for the escort while still dealing high sustained damage and wait for the right time to alpha strike then toast them. If I need more healing I use Gama section, if I need a more turn rate I use Beta section.
