From MemAlpha: "On average, Klingons were larger and physically stronger than Humans, though they possessed a much lower tolerance for cold weather." (VOY: Displaced; DS9: Change of Heart)

Also kinda fits to Qo'noS itself which is often described in combination with lava and volcanoes. Klingons also seem to like their camp fires.

I for myself like the haziness of the bridges, at least how it is displayed on my computer. Depending on one's hardware and settings, I could imagine it's too much for some, though, so it's cool that the gloom setting seems to work there.
Of course, I'd very much approve for Gorn, Orion and Nausicaan bridge packs, too.

Which begs to ask the question. Have we ever actually seen an Orion bridge?

Wellll, there was that ENT episode ...

We didn't get a good look at the actual bridge (aside from that short comm sequence), but we've seen enough of the interiors to gauge the general style, I think. The same approach the devs have taken for the Cardassian cruiser in the Devidian Featured Episodes.

Klingons prefer cool and humid. I would prefer a lack of mistiness in Klingon warships myself. Stupid movie mood lighting.. and its also a great way to hide the detail on a cheap set...
Ford did not invent the Klingon language, Okrand did.

it's also canon that Klingons have a low tolerance for cold, clearly overriding "The Final Reflection" in that regard.

It's the difficulty in seeing those colors that tests the mettle of a true warrior...lol

Some of the other bridges that you purchase off the C-Store are not as hazy.

-The 3rd bridge in the "Cruiser Bridges" set includes a version that is lighter and is not as hazy
-The "Negh'Var Bridges" set are mostly low haze, and good lighting. But the 2nd and 3rd bridges seems to have the least haze and best lighting. So far it's the ones I've been using the most.
-The "Carrier Bridges" set are hazy, but the 2nd bridge in that set has the least haze (comparable to the 1st bridge option in the Negh'Var Bridge set).

The raptor and bop bridges have the most haze and the harshest lighting. Also most of the bridges that are detailed in red seem to have a pretty harsh haze.

Most of the packs are just variants of the standard version that comes with the ship to begin with... I see nothing there that warrants it to be sold as a c-store item..... the c-store variants look like the variants in-game for EC..... I want targs, and gunners getting vaporized if I am paying money for my KDF bridges...lol

I like the haze look. it makes it look more like a KDF ship but there is too much of it.
