No we need the romulans to come out soon like post season 5 becuase alot of players have stop playing this game! and it was sayed on the site before season 2 came out that romulans was coming out but push back thin season 3 push back again til season 5 or season 6 but now they saying post season 5!
and alot of stuff that players say first needs to be fix it has been fixed andthose are new bug!
Its only so many times that the romulans can be put on hold before you start loosing players becuase they wanted to play romulan I myself give them til season 6!!
I was going to say that it would be great if one of the missions involved time travel that allowed us to explore Romulus of the TNG/DS9 era, but then it becomes a question of 'why aren't I saving my homeworld from future destruction?'
Perhaps they can think of a clever way for us to visit Romulus?
I think it'd be kind of cool if, due to Spock's movement, you could play as a Romulan/Vulcan hybrid.
It'd be kind of cool if the Devs come up with a system where if we do enough "sneaking around" we can take a position with the Tal'Shiar if we choose to.
I agree with these three points! I think a time travel story arc near end game (Romulan Admiral/General) for RSE faction would be great! There are several ways in which they could either travel back in time, or use a device of epic power to alter the timeline. In this arc, the Federation of the 25th Century would be enemy NPCs, while the Federation of the 24th Century would be allies. While the moral connundrum would weigh on Federation characters, it should be quite interesting to play the opposite side, where the choice is clear.
I support a Romulan/Vulcan hybrid because the more race options for the RSE, the better.
As for "sneaking around", that is what Romulans do! Missions invoving espionage, and intruige between the subfactions (Donatra, Sela, Taris, Reman, etc.) would be immensly rewarding.
All I want is a single ship for each type at each tier and basic PVE content with exploration and PVP, than I be a happy Romulan
Me too, except you have the "KDF complete faction first!" and "Only release a full faction, or don't release anything at all!" people whining and complaining all over the forums. I agree with you that something is better than nothing, but tell that to those two crowds.

As much as I dislike the Tal Shiar (maybe because I prefer the military?) this is an awesome idea.
The playable Romulan-Vulcan hybrid, or even Vulcan who just came over would be really cool too.
In another post I also started thinking about uniquely Romulan diplomatic missions; moreso than any other the species the Romulans are diplomatic-- they most value courtesy and politeness; yet there is a constant negotiation between that courtesy and politeness and Romulan political goals. Just think about the character in my avatar's relationship with Spock, or when Sela was supplying weapons to Duras but would not proceed when exposed. It'd be awesome.
I would like to see them too ASAP, the sooner the better.
Also, keep in mind, if the romulans are released in one to two years, then *every* new game mechanic, new system and featured episode (ok, at the current rate there will be just 2-4 FE's more at that time) has to be adapted to a new faction, so with any month passed the RSE faction would need more and more time to be completed. (i bet this will also diminsh the chance to see *any* other faction after the romulans)

That is a very good point that doesn't get brought up nearly enough.
