Recently I have noticed when I have my escort in 100 shield mode the borg set procs continuously. Has anyone else noticed this.

I find the procs kick in a lot more when receiving cannon fire. If this is the case, I'd assume this is the reason; especially if the cannon fire is comming from turrets.

Is there a connection between the Borg Shield proc and the power setting of your shields? Can't say I ever noticed it previously..

Maybe it's yet another broken thing that has occured because of a patch?

Damian has 3/4 Borg set and I have a setting that is 75 shields 75 engines for that time when I'm getting a little focus fire but I'm waiting on my evasive or deuterium cooldown.

Sometmes he's like frankendefiant for a minute or 2. And I will look some more tonight to see if I can count off the Borg procs. But it does make sense to get proc'd more by cannons, as I believe that mechanic would work both ways. Offensive for cits, and more "crits" on the recieving end of your Borg set

At normal shield settings like 69/40 FaW makes it proc like crazy. But if I am focused fire and go into defensive mode max in shields and 75/50 in engines my 4/4 borg set usually brings me back from the brink or holds me over until me HE or team mates get to me.

Nope. I do not think it procs more then when u put ur powerlevel at 25.

It can proc once every 45 seconds, but think about it..

If it have a 1% chance of proccing, you would be almost certain it would proc when under focusfire from ships using CRF and turrets (Escorts) - I wont even try to guess how many bolts 3x3 turrets on 3 escorts shoot out when using CRF3

That is the problem my borg set procs more from FaW per shot than CRF. And every time I reach 100+ shields it almost procs continually for like 10 seconds. Last night I was going against some Penging Cruiser from CF and he got me down to 7% with a peng crit I went into shield mode and tanked him and and a nebula for about 2 minutes until a friendly came and casted a HE on me and then I was still proccing all the way back to 100% which allowed me to go offensive and kill the cruiser and nebula.
