ok so my tactical officer skills are TT1, BO2, HY3
Engineering are 2 EPW1, ET2 and ET1, EPS2, DEM3, AtSI2

science are ST1 and Hazard.

this is on my engineering officer who isnt yet a VA, and still running VIII stuff, and he did one hell of a smash up job on 9 of 10 last night.

weapons are 3 phaser arrays fore with quant, and 3 phaser arrays aft with photon.

end design is 2 AP and 1 phaser fore with quant, and 2 phasers 1 AP aft with Photon.

trust me if im hurting them with the phasers this bad now, just think how bad it will be with the AP's

it can be trained by you when you unlock it it the skills tree. if not than its very common, and you can get another BO off the exchange for nothing. heck if you want ill give you one of mine with VM3. got like a dozen of them.

This was a good read, my self I have a eng va in escorts, right now been playing on tribble, the new stf's
Anti Borg gear, relays makes my defiant-r kick ***, red alerts are a breeze now,
Running 3 dual heavy cannon and photon up front, 3 turrets out back, enemy barely ever behind me always in my sight so need all weapons shooting up front, got 4 cannon consoles, stripped cloak for now for three armour, Parametallic Hull Plating, in sci slots got auto defense turret, and the hyper impulse (only on Trimble right now), makes for fast get away, and being eng got major hull heal abilitys.

was more of a cruiser thread but i like the sounds of your Defient R build... think i might put it to a test and see how i can run it.

care if i can get how your stations are set up?

okay, and forgot armour is mk x blue, and cannon consoles, got 3 mk xi blue, and one mk x purple(so same modifier as mk xi blue)
mind you is on trible so some stuff not on holo deck yet, weapons all anti borg from stf's,
shield/deflector/engine is starfleet elite force set.

bo's not all powers on tool bar cause they useless for set up so won't list unused ones

since this on tribble also have passive skills from space assigned duty officers

conn officer (chance reduce the time to recharge evasive maneuvers)
tractor beam officer (drains target shields with tractor beam)
EMH (increase crew recovery when crew below 75%)

also the impulse capacitor cell console, is like full impulse but can be used in combat, can be used to withdraw to repair hull when no heals available or can be used for high speed strafing runs.

once new skill tree's hit tribble (allow switch ships and weapon damage type with out respecting) i may switch to anti borg antiprotons.

just added two doff's

warp core engineer (chance to temporarily improve ship power on use any emergency power ability)

maintenance engineer (chance reduce the recharge time for engineering team or aux to structural integrity field)

The console that gives +35% to shield capacity (away from game machine)

Borg Console
Console that improves tractor beam MK XI blue

Phaser Relay Mk XI blue x 3

Dueterium Tanks
Rechargable Shield Battery
Subfield Modulation Generator
Weapons Batteries


Phaser DBB Mk XI very rares x 3
Quatum Torp Mk Xi very rare

Phaser beam array Mk XI very rares x3
Quatum Torp Mk XI very rare

I have a turn rate of 17.5 at full speed (not full impulse). Does decent damage and can still take a beating.

I like to fight nose to nose ( or whatever side of the enemy that makes itself available).

ok i have to ask, where do you find the rechargeable shield battery?

and when i log on next ill tell you what my ships are packing.
