You don't even need to time it right. You can just load them up once the global wears off and fire them one after the other with how it's sitting on tribble right now.

Its actually 27 torps per TS3, if you have enough targets.

That lets you fire 2 in a row. If you want to fire 3 then you need to time things just right :p

Then the other part of me realizes, that every time I que.... I am going to be in my "miniesq" build sitting in cloak looking for a soft target... and it will kinda go like this;

Oh Damn CPB.... Oh Damn no shield.... Oh Damn the GFX bugged out because the server couldn't handle the 70 incoming torps.... all well got 15 seconds to cool off.

LOL, when everyone is in a sci ship, this isn't going to help Mini much. At least as it is he can pop the odd non noob... now the only targets that get cloak poped will really reallly be noobys.

As much as this is questionable with torps like Tricobalts and harpengs able to be fired 1s after a THY, it seems to me the real issue with this is the way tac powers can be preloaded then fired again right after being used, circumventing the global cooldown.

Why should this function like that again? No other power can be used back to back like that. I'd like to see that fixed.

Even still, though, you've got a 1 minute wonder with something like that.

But they really should fix the preloading simultaneously if they are going to effectively remove the global torpedo cooldown.

preloading is the skill in this game, the difference between suck and skill. eliminating preloading would change everything about this game, and make half of tactical abilities as they are useless.

you want to be in the fight all day? you arent gonna burst. wanna hold up some power and let it all out, double tap, its what winners do
