To Tribble or not to Tribble, that is the question...
(And yes that title is free to anyone, since I'm not planning any tribble-oriented missions).
In the recent discussion about the "Internal Genesis Error", I was surprised to see a number of people appear to be developing their foundry missions on Tribble rather than on Holodeck. Is there an advantage to working this way, or is it preference?
Related question, do folks have any "best practices" for checking missions after patches are applied?
I think most people are just checking on Tribble to see if it's working. Also, many early Foundry authors made missions on Tribble because it wasn't originally on Holodeck. So, they will have missions they made before they can use to test.
There's no good reason to make your mission on anything other than Holodeck. In fact, it's pretty much just a big mistake because there's few people who play on the test server.
