I have been Scrambled/AM'd so much these past few days that I hereby recant my vow:
I'll join the masses using Scramble. Not Scramble 3, but I shall be using Scramble 1 from here on out.
I don't mind losing, but when the only reason I die is because my heals are sent to random Photonics, it's time for me to play dirty. (Not trying to be full of myself here - I die a lot of legitimate reasons :p But when I know I could have held out with my heals, that's a no no).
I actually said the same thing in the ss/tac team thread.
I'm with you MVS. And will now give up a tss2 or he2 or sciteam2 on maybe a couple of our fleets sci builds. We stayed away from it for so long because of the frustation it causes. We have had every ship carry a copy of scti team, and the sci ships 2 manditory just to counter.
But enough may be enough. I've spent so much time scrambled the past week it makes the past 6 months seem like a joke. Especially when I noticed over the past week cruisers with 2 SS, and sci ships with 2 on the same team. Under same banner. Planned that way. Just uncouth.
In this game we should have fun killing bad guys.
Not spend a half hour looking for em, and healing their photo pets.
The antimatter spread console is one of those things that makes my mind boggle, since Cryptic is apparently aware of how broken SS is. "Hey, this needs to be fixed, but while we're figuring out how to do it, let's add some more."
The Devs were the type of kids who after touching a hot stove and burning themselves, touched it again to see if it would hurt even more.
