I cant help but wonder is this because of perfect worlds take over? Normally when a company like that takes over another company management is the first to go and be replaced with perfect world management. However im sorry to see Dan leave he was really good for the game and hes leaving a gaping hole in sto that im not sure can be filled.

You will be missed Dan and good luck on any pursuits you have in the future.

Didn't see that coming! I always like you having the position and knowing that you knew your star trek helped me know that the game was in good hands I hope I can feel the same with whom takes your place. The best of luck and no matter where your course takes you always aim for the 2nd star to the right...and keep on til morning.

I wouldn't worry too much IMO. I had fears when the FE's started that the game wouldn't survive on one mission a week. Thankfully I was proved wrong

I heard the same doom and gloom when zinc left a year or so ago. lots of people panic and thought he had been fired or something and the game was sinking when he said he was taking a break, and thats exactly what he did as he came back. the game then entered a really good period and everybody attributed that to dstahl even though most of the work would have been conceived under zinc. if things go really well over the next 3 months under stephen then people will immediately say its all his doing.

end of the day, its gutting news but its not the end of anything, or signs of impending doom. its just life. things will continue here on their merry way.

dstahl i think you have done a great job, you sound like an awesome guy and i wish you well in what ever you do. im genuinely sad to see you go and i wish you would stay but i understand if its time to move on. live long and prosper.

PWE would not have made a capitol investment if they didn't think they would make a profit.
Doomsayers please cease. STO isn't going anywhere but to the bank.

I kinda do fear it a little myself but I have faith that DStahl is tellling the truth when he says he is leaving it in good hands.

DStahl, your dedication and spirit for this game has been what has kept it going in the way of the Trek. Thank you for everything.

I reckon that'll be Dan's leaving present. To get that in at some point in the future, maybe as a command ship for all the command ships
