# 1 Control Map Level (NPC Level)
09-21-2011, 04:45 PM
Question:

Can you control the Skill Level of Enemy NPC's? (In Space)?

When begining a private fleet action in normal gameplay, we can select the skill level of the enemy NPC's. Can we do the same on our foundry maps?

My goal is to make maps for Vice Admirals who like to play with their Tier-1 and Tier-2 starships; but enemies must be scaled down to Tiers 1 & 2, obviously. (i.e., levels 1 - 31) Options become limited when all you can do is "reskin" enemy fighters/shuttles; (not to mention a trick that is easily seen through, and breaks the immersion) I would much rather have "undisguised" enemy ships that are simply at a lower level. Please tell me what I'm missing.

Thanks in advance -

You cannot control any aspect of the mobs apart from the NPC groups you place on the map.

You can, however...change their costumes.

So you can take a mob of fighters, and change each mob entity's costume into a cruiser.

The cruiser would fly around and act like a fighter (be about as powerful).
