A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I never had much experience with PvP and it never had any appeal to me. Even the first 3 or 4 months that I played this game I had no interest in it. I'm frustrated and losing hope with each new broken improvement but at least most of the people I get to play with (and against) are pretty awesome.
Arise, every day Warriors! Pick up the weapons of your craft and without bias or remorse, Train in the Way. Always be ready for the klaxon of battle. Its call is as a lover's sigh to a Warrior. It is in the battlesphere that you will find your true Warrior's heart.
Arise, and give your enemies no quarter, they expect and deserve none! In fact, they rather that you give them nothing but unremitting grief, for they are Trained to give the same. To give anything less than the utmost best dishonours both yourself and your adversary.
Arise, with loyalty and ferocity fight for the cause of your Clan, House, Empire and the Elements themselves! Know that giving your very lifeblood for your sisters and brothers in arms will advance the cause and that of the Way.
Arise, know that you are already dead, and you will never die! Invite death at every opportunity, make of Her a friend, an ally, a close companion. And on that glorious day that she kisses you finally, laugh heartily that you Lived as you Died, a Warrior of the Way!
Yours in the Way of the Warrior Plasma,
Star*Dagger
Part of me is really horrified at the thought of a tricobalt spread 3, but the rest of me is TRYING to be optimistic. Maybe, just maybe they are trying to establish a new balance at a level we currently consider to be overpowered. Maybe. I mean, if we all load up on all these shiny OP things they keep throwing at us, eventually... I'm gonna go pray to the spaghetti monster for some enlightenment... In the meantime, I am totally embracing the darkside and will do as much AOE damage as cryptic will allow. Heck, I even gave in to the temptation that is scramble sensors (something I wouldn't have dreamed of saying a week ago) See you all out there.
Edit: I say all this in the sincerest hopes that the light side will catch up to this new level as quickly as possible. There is no reason my TS2 quantum shots should be killing people through shields, but they do, and since my list of "forbidden" powers is getting longer than the "ethical" ones, I am simply giving up on ethics. They are not paying dividends anymore
hi. every play super nintendo street fighter 2? im the best at ryu and will own you forever at it if you muster up the game and console. Ever hear of "Mace" for n64? Alrashid will 15 hit combo your *** with me at controls. Starfleet Command 3? I have played that game 20 yrs after it came out. Still fun.
What this ramble MEANS, is that whatever STO is or will be Ill still be logging in to kick your *** or die trying. If you step into the arena sooner or later your are going to get faced with an enemy that you cant counter. Step your game up or break out mortal kombat and practice fatalities. To those that will remain cloaked in wait in kerrat and storming the queues i salute you. To those waiting for open pvp, romulans, and the joyous fruit of this overdue harvest, Im with you!
How about some Quake GL deathmatch! While I eschew ground combat in STO (due to it not being done) I was the master of disaster with the rocketjump and Plasma Rifle (yes Ladies, its all about the Plasma!) back in my Quake days.
